CWR Contracting is a heavy civil construction company specializing in asphalt paving, site development, and material production.
For nearly 50 years, we've worked alongside public agencies, developers, contractors, and communities to build the roads, sites, and infrastructure that support everyday life. Our teams bring the experience, craftsmanship, and operational capacity needed to deliver projects across Florida.
How It Started
Founded in 1976, CWR Contracting began as a small asphalt paving company in the Florida Panhandle.
Over the decades, the company expanded its footprint, added new capabilities, and grew into one of Florida's leading heavy civil contractors. Today, CWR employs more than 1,000 people and operates as part of Construction Partners (Nasdaq: ROAD), continuing to build on a foundation of asphalt paving, roadway construction, and infrastructure development across the state.
