Project Details
CWR Contracting completed the 2.5-year, three-phase project to widen PJ Adams Parkway from two lanes to four, running from State Road 85 to Wild Horse Drive in Freeport. The work was sequenced in phases to keep the corridor open during construction.
Scope included new turn lanes, sidewalks, traffic signals, and stormwater upgrades alongside the mainline widening and paving. With the project complete, this section of the parkway is now equipped to handle the daily traffic load it sees and gives Okaloosa County a safer, more efficient route through Freeport.
