Project Details
CWR Contracting completed the roadway infrastructure improvements on more than 21 miles of Florida's Turnpike Mainline SR 91 in Sumter County, from milepost 297.9 through 308.9, including work at Exit 304 (SR 35 / US 301). On a stretch this long, the right combination of materials, equipment, and crew coordination is what keeps the project on schedule and the traveling public moving.
Scope included milling and resurfacing, guardrail installation, drainage improvements, lighting and ITS upgrades, box culvert repairs, bridge expansion joint work, and full signing and pavement markings end to end. The improvements deliver a smoother, safer Turnpike experience through one of the busiest stretches of Florida's interstate network.
