Project Details
The SR 44 and Kepler Road intersection serves as a key connection point for motorists traveling through DeLand, and improving safety and traffic flow at this location was the primary goal of the project. As part of the Florida Department of Transportation's effort to modernize the corridor, the existing signalized intersection was reconstructed into a multi-lane roundabout.
CWR Contracting contributed to the roadway improvements and paving operations associated with the project, helping deliver the infrastructure needed to support the new traffic pattern. The completed roundabout improves traffic circulation, reduces congestion, and provides safer access for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists while supporting continued growth in the surrounding area.
