CWR Receives Two 2017 Excellence in Pavement Awards

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is proud to announce it received two prestigious awards. The Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida (ACAF) Inc., selected CWR as the top-performing asphalt producer and contractor, meeting demanding construction and performance standards.

ACAF presented CWR with the 2017 Excellence in Pavement (Resurfacing — Rural) District 3 Award for the State Road (S.R.) 59, from U.S. 27 to Wacissa Springs, a project in Jefferson County. CWR was also awarded the 2017 Excellence in Pavement (FDOT Roads & Streets) District 3 Award for the S.R. 30, from the Franklin County line to S.R. 30A, a project in Gulf County.

ACAF rates contractors by the quality of the mix, the ride, new construction, and the visual rating of the highway.

Winners were announced at the 60th Annual Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida Convention in Fort Myers, Florida in June 2017. The conference consisted of informative educational sessions, fishing and golf tournaments, and a dinner awards banquet.
