C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) was awarded at the 2019 Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida (ACAF) convention held at the J.W. Marriott Turnberry Resort in Aventura, Florida.

CWR was pleased to receive the Resurfacing (Urban) District 3 and Statewide Award for its SR 267 Pat Thomas Parkway South (Gadsden County) of SR 8 (I-10) to SR 10 (US 90) – (Jefferson County) project. In addition, CWR was awarded two Special Project awards for contracts that were located in Walton County and Pasco County, Florida. Special Project (District 3) – Repair Assault Strip Landing Zone Field 1 (Doolittle Airfield Training Site) and Special Project (District 7) – Zephyrhills Municipal Airport.

“We are honored and humbled to receive this award”, said Robert P. Flowers, president of CWR. “This award exhibits our employees’ diligent work and efforts on delivering noteworthy projects. Thank you ACAF for recognizing our commitment on providing the highest level of service”.

ACAF rates contractors and projects by the quality of the mix, the ride, new construction, and the visual rating of the highway. Winners were announced at the dinner banquet held on June 22, 2019.
